American Association of Colleges of Nursing - AACN is the national voice for baccalaureate, master's and doctoral programs in nursing. AACN's Web site contains information on nursing careers, sources of financial aid, educational standards, government advocacy, and the latest news in the arena of nursing education.

American Association for the History of Nursing (AAHN) - Founded in 1978 to "stimulate national and international interest in the history of nursing..." Contains exhibit, bibliography, conference schedules, and links to other history of nursing sites.

American Nurses Association/Nursing World - The ANA site includes membership services, products, professional and political news for its individual RN members, state and affiliated organizations, and the members of the Nursing Organization Liaison Forum (NOLF). 

National League for Nursing - The National League for Nursing advances quality nursing education that prepares the nursing workforce to meet the needs of diverse populations in an ever-changing healthcare environment.

National Student Nurses' Association - The NSNA provides awards and scholarship information, publications and meetings, news and background geared to nursing students. 

Nursing 2000 - Nursing 2000 is an educational organization designed to promote and support careers in Registered Nursing. The organization's nursing membership includes practicing nurses from health care agencies, universities, professional nursing associations, and communities who work together to promote the positive image of professional nursing.
